APS Meetings

New Mexico Landscape
by Mike Etie

A presentation by Annie Winsett, on social media. You can grow your base of supporters, engage with them for feedback and show galleries or art event organizations that you mean business. But how do you make the most effective use of these channels and the time you invest? Annie can help define which Social Media outlets will best serve our creative endeavors and how to maintain a profitable presence.

Time to unload all that stuff getting in the way of your creativity. Our Annual Garage Sale is the perfect way to recycle the old easel you replaced last year, the plein air kit you never use, the pastel set you thought you'd love but didn't, brushes and paint you never touch, canvas, pastel board, paper, frames, glass, anything art related. Sell or trade it with other artists at bargain prices.

Buyers, bring cash or a checkbook; sellers be sure to have plenty of change on hand.

Our meetings usually begin with APS business and news, then we have a presentation by a prominent artist or an art-related topic. Guests are welcome to attend.

A Conversation with Mike Etie
This should be a very entertaining program with one of APS’s founding members on his painting journeys,  what started him on his art adventure and how it has changed his life and the lives of others. He will also talk about the importance of painting from life and how to use technology to help the process.

Sunday, April 22, 2018 - 2:30 to 4:30 pm

Meetings are at Precision Camera, unless otherwise noted.
